Playford Kindergym Inc. is an affiliated member of the Gymnastics and Kindergym Association of South Australia and a Kindergym Australia Provider. Our Current Leader is an accredited Kindergym Leader who maintains yearly update points, holds a First Aid and Asthma Aware Certificate and has had a recent Police Check Playford Kindergym Inc. is currently a Star 3 rating with Club 10 which means we maintain a high standard in leadership, administration and programming. Kindergym is a movement based program that encourages children aged 0-5 yrs to grow and develop through play in a fun, colourful and stimulating environment with the encouragement and supervision of their carer. Playford Kindergym is a not for profit organisation run by a volunteer committee. Each term Playford Kindergym Inc. has a theme which we base all songs, games and special activities around. An example of some of our themes include; Kindergym Crew - A group of Australian animals that the gymnastics association has put with Dominant Movement Patterns eg Kangaroo-jump, Koala-climb, Emu-locomotion Transport and Safety- to introduce different forms of transport and teach basic safety by using songs and games eg Stop\go, Traffic Lights Numbers and Letters - to introduce counting and the alphabet using songs, games and in the free play area.
